The past few days have been a lot to digest.
One of the classiest, most qualified, first families in history has left the White House for the last time, and they are being replaced with relative unknowns.
It’s a brave, new (scary) world.
The day after inauguration, was met with a very genuine moment of unity as some 500,000 people converged on Washington, D.C. in support of the Women’s March, dwarfing those who showed up the day before, at the swearing in of the 45th President.
Against the backdrop of the Washington Monument draped in fog, almost embarrassed by the preceding days events, there was hope.
While this presidential term may be defined by the fear mongering and misinformation that lead to its inception, ultimately the narrative of the American people lies in their hands.
If the march was any indication, we are ready to begin the healing process as a nation, even in the face of blatant hate.
Below are some selected images from the march.
We’ve got some work to do, it’s time to get started.
